Superannuation is Australia's retirement savings system, and every calculator here is built around it: Australian dollars, Australian financial years running 1 July to 30 June, and the contribution caps, super guarantee rate and resident tax rates set by the Australian Government and published by the ATO. If you live outside Australia, the results won't apply to you.

Most super calculators sit behind a login, inside a long article, or ask for details they don't need. Superannuation Calculators does the opposite: one page, the inputs that matter, and an answer that updates as you type.

How the numbers are checked

Each calculator uses the caps, thresholds and tax rates published by the Australian Taxation Office for the financial year shown on the page. We review every calculator after each federal Budget and at the start of each financial year on 1 July, and the page shows when it was last updated.
